Cala Torret Menorca

Cala Torret is connected to Binibeca Nou and on a small Peninsula. It has small streets and houses similar to Binibeca Vell and is also car-free in the centre of town.
With breathtaking views on its own Meditteranean inlet, there are a handful of restaurants, a supermarket and its own bakery.

We loved walking down the road from our Villa at Binibeca Nou to this little town of Cala Torret. One of our favourite treats in the morning would be to walk down to the Bakery. Carrer des Peus de Cabrit, 31, 07711 Binibequer, Illes Balears.

Two pots of tea and a freshly baked croissant with some delicious peach marmalade set us up nicely for the day ahead. It's a must-visit and only costs us just less than 7 euros for the two of us and is very popular with the locals as well as Menorca visitors (who find this little gem) *Highly recommended.

The owners and staff are ever so friendly and speak English as well as Spanish. There is a limited number of tables and chairs outside, and you can also sit inside if the weather is not so good.

Cala Torret Supermarket
The Supermarket at Cala Torret is superb. It has most things you will need, including our favourite Spanish Strawberry Gin.

Friendly staff and we found it cheaper than most. Easy to find as you walk up the main steps from the sea view restaurants.
​
You have to enter the supermarket halfway down the steps (turn left) and not from the main road (as shown in our picture) running past at the top of the hill.
​
Very helpful staff when we visited. Anything needed, they went out of their way to help. Well worth a visit.
