It’s possible to walk to Cala Santandria and Cala’n Blanes in just over 30 minutes. Plus, some of the best beach resorts in Menorca are just a quick taxi or bus ride from town.

Punta Prima

You can easily find everything you need without hiring a car, which means this destination will be perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with long distances when travelling abroad!

The resort has three mini-markets, one larger supermarket located on the outskirts of San Lluis and it's only a 10-minute drive away.

​

If you are looking for some good food and great views, then this is the place to go.

 

There's so much variety that it will be hard to decide what your next bite might taste like! Local restaurants offer some great choices, from seafood dishes with fresh local ingredients or international options such as pizzas & steaks.

Cala Galdana

On the South coast of Menorca is Cala Galdana with its golden beach, plenty of shops restaurants, and some supermarkets to provide everything you need.

 

It is a great place to get away from it all and relax with its beautiful beaches and delicious food options at a good handful of eating establishments. Must try Delit Restaurant - Fabulous!

If you are in need of some serious shopping, shoppers will need to drive or get a 30-minute taxi ride into Ciutadella. Plenty of stylish shops, restaurants and history to make for a perfect trip out.

Son Bou

Son Bou has everything. There is a good choice of shops and supermarkets, a number of good bars, cafes and restaurants, with a couple overlooking the sea, all within 20 minutes on foot. 

 

The white sandy beach of Son Bou is the longest beach on the island. It has a regular bus service to get you to Ciutadella and Mahon. 

 

A taxi rank is in the centre near the hotels if you want to visit somewhere nearby like Santo Tomas.

 

Great for families and there is even a road train running around Son Bou to save your legs!

Santo Tomas

Nice compact resort with everything you need. Great selection of restaurants, many looking out over the sea. Great range of facilities and hotels dotted around. Santo Tomas is popular for package deals if you want a hotel holiday.

 

Bus service if you want to travel outside of the town. Taxi rank and car hire available. Good choice of villa rentals in the are too.

 

One of the best spots on the island to watch the sunsets on the island. A must is a visit to the Malibu Bar overlooking the sea and the beach. Great for lunch and a drink - recommended.

Santo Tomas Menorca

Cala en Bosch

What's not to love about Calan Bosch and its marina? With its waterpark, go-kart track, and 2 sandy beaches, this resort has it all.

 

The resort has a small shopping complex by the marina which houses stores that sell beachwear, clothes, and souvenirs.

 

Take your kids on an adventure that is great fun! Visit the AquaRock Waterpark, located just minutes away from our marina. This park offers various activities including slides for kids of all ages as well as food amenities such as a restaurant with Spanish cuisine or fast-food options available too!

 

The island's ancient capital, Ciutadella is a 20-minute drive away with a good choice of shops and boutiques.

Calan Bosch

Calan Forcat

Calan Forcat's bay, the waterpark, shops and restaurants are all 10 minutes away on foot, whilst the sandy beaches of Calan Blanes and Cala Picas are both within a mile.

The island's old historic and old capital of Ciutadella is not that far away in a car, bus or taxi and is we recommend you take the time to visit.

 

The resort of Calan Forcat has mini markets, restaurants and a supermarket over 2 miles away.

 

A small narrow beach and some rocky paths with some diving places make this a unique place on the island. Plenty to do and a good mixture of hotels and villa’s dotted around the rugged coastline.

Arenal D’en Castell

Arenal D’en Castell has one of the best beaches on the island of Menorca. The resort has a good selection of shops and places to eat whilst taking in the views overlooking the bay.

Rent a pedalo during the high season. Just 15 minutes away is The Coves Noves Complex, a children’s park open in the high season. It takes a stroll of 15 minutes from the centre of Arenal den Castell. A great day out for all the family.
