Popular Menorca beaches for Naturist bathing and swimming

On Menorca, you will find several nude beaches where you can relax and completely unwind during your holiday. These beaches, usually somewhat away from those where you find more mass tourism, give you the opportunity to relax away from all the crowds where you don't have to worry about anything.

Here are some of the favoured nudist beaches in Menorca

Menorca Nudist Beaches
Cala Pilar - Menorca

Cala Pilar

Cala Pilar On the north shore of the island of Menorca, you find this bay, northeast of the old capital of Ciutadella. It has a very quiet beach which makes it great for relaxing.

However, it is not recommended to visit this beach with children or older people due to their inaccessibility to them. Cala Pilar is a small beach, perfect for naturists who want to miss the weird looks.

What you have to take into account is that no facilities are offered on this beach. So do not forget to bring your own food, drinks and possibly a parasol. Don't forget your Sunscreens - Full Guide here

Nevertheless, this is the perfect place to enjoy the wonderful waters. Cala Pilar is a protected area making it a wonderful place for snorkeling and scuba diving.

Cala Calderer

Cala Calderer, is just like Cala Pilar, you will not find many people here who visit this bay, which ensures total peace. This is mainly due to the difficult access to this beach and around a 5.2 km walk.

The Cala Calderer beach is located directly north of Ferreries and is considered a quiet area due to its proximity to the rocks and flora. The clear water and fine sand form a landscape worth visiting when visiting Menorca

On this beach, you can relax in the sun and forget everything around you.

Cala Mesquida

Just 4 km north of Mahon, we find Cala Mesquida, a wide sandy beach with fine grains of sand rinsed clean by the waters of Menorca.

This bay is easy to reach due to the good access road. This landscape is perfect for escaping from the daily routine by being carried away in the tranquillity of nature

On this beach, you will find various facilities such as the rental of hammocks, umbrellas and there is first aid available. For these reasons, this beach is increasingly visited, but it remains a wonderful place to enjoy the scenery.

Cala Masquida

Cala Presili or Capifort

The Cala Presili beach does not look like the other beaches in the north of Menorca, because it has white and fine sand while in the northern part of the island, the bays have reddish tones.

The area where you will find this bay is a nature reserve, so people who visit this bay are very environmentally friendly and have respect for the landscape.

To get here you need to head for the Favàritx lighthouse on the PM-715 road. Just before you get to the lighthouse, there is a small parking area and gate to the Nature Reserve. Park up and follow the path.

If you go in the summer, don't forget to bring your own water and possibly a parasol. Nevertheless, this area is definitely worth a visit because you can snorkel beautifully and relax and rest in the sun.

Cala Rambles or Sa Torreta

The Cala Rambles beach is located above Mahón in Parc Natural de s'Albufera des Grau, an area of great beauty. Cala Rambles is an untouched and protected beach where you will find the peace you are looking for if you want to enjoy a well-deserved holiday.

Due to the difficult accessibility, it is not a much-visited beach, even in August. If you want to visit this beach, you do not have to worry about large crowds that disturb the peace.

Since this beach is quite secluded, it does not have any facilities, so don't forget to bring your own stuff to use during your visit to this bay surrounded by nature and wildlife. You can enjoy both the surrounding mountains and the sea here.

This area is located in the Albufera d'es Grau nature reserve

Es Grau

Es Grau bay is located next to the town of the same name, Es Grau

This is the largest nudist beach on the island; equipped with an area of 600 meters long with many natural features that makes this beach one of the most famous and most visited.

You can also find this beach in the Albufera d'es Grau nature reserve, and although it is close to the centre of the town of Es Grau, you can still enjoy the atmosphere of the sea.

At this beach, you will also find some restaurants and small shops where you can eat. In addition, you can rent kayaks here and participate in small boat excursions.

Surfing, parking and other facilities on the beach make Es Grau beach very popular with families and tourists.

You can also enjoy the most beautiful sunsets that Es Grau offers every night during the summer.

Es Grau Menorca
